Hi, I'm going to Paris for about 4 days in December, and it's not very long -- so I was wondering what sights I should absolutely visit? I am a student on a budget, but nonetheless, I'm determined to see all those big sights (Eiffel Tower, Moulin Rouge, Louvre, Notre Dame, etc). I'd find suggestions on stuff that's really quintessentially French, artsy or really good-but-cheap foody places incredibly, incredibly helpful :-) I would love to know of crazy little cafes I should visit or any amazing churches where people are buried (I love that kind of stuff), or places where writers used to live (again, super-nerdy, but love!!). If anybody has any suggestions, please do tell me!! I will be eternally grateful. I have never been to Paris before, and it's only for four days, so I'd really like to make the most of it if I can!

NANOWRIMO WORDCOUNT AT 40,150 WORDS.
I'm not there, not yet, but can I feel incredibly accomplished first? This is the furthest I've ever gotten for NaNo. Last year, I stopped at 10K. So whee~ I hope I can hit 50K this year. :X

I'm going to Penang for the whole of next week, and then the week after that, I'm going to Sabah to climb Mt. Kinabalu. I'm going to bring my laptop and tablet to Penang to get some EOY work done, since for one I haven't touched the damn things in like a week. So if I can get a connection there, great! If I can't, great! (It means I get more things done anyway, don't judge me)
I really detest packing, though. Troublesome.

Last night I had a dream about...actually, I'm not too sure. It was kind of weird. It involved an enormous orange water slide/pipe thing, Hawaii, mud, underground tunnels and Daniel (a character in my nano). I think my brother made a cameo but I can't really remember a lot of it. It was weird, anyway. Oh, it also included an art gallery. Don't ask.
The orange water slide/pipe thing was BLINDINGLY BRIGHT, though. I can still see it on the back of my eyelids.

Also, I went to collect my order for Seven Days. Admittedly it is in Japanese, but that's okay, cause for one thing I can practically remember what's being said in every bubble - guess that's what happens when you translate stuff. And do you know. The insane amount of happiness I feel when I look at it. I swear reading online can never beat reading it from the book THE PAPER. It is so nice and thick <3 and the ART, oh god. So happy. ♥
I kind of want to go take Japanese though. Gnffff ;w;

Haha, I have so many things to do. Let's make a list! Okay. Here goes.

EOY stuff

- Complete the set of KHR badges. Remaining: Lambo, Shouichi, Spanner, Tsuna, Squalo and Xanxus.
- Hetalia badges. Completely untouched (not even a sketch!). To do: Italy, Germany, Japan, France and Russia.
- At least one print, I guess. For KHR and Hetalia and Vocaloid and any other fandoms I should really provide for guys?

- 10K to go. Go go go type type type. Argh.

SCHOOL-RELATED/HOMEWORK

- ..I'm not even going to think about it. A maths and E maths and English and Physics and Chemistry and YES, I AM SO FUCKED. I even misplaced all of it. Can't find anything.
- sort out my papers. I need to throw things I don't need away.

It's a lot of things, oh god.

My first post, so let me know if I'm doing it wrong.

The photo above is linked to a flash gallery on my website that contains about 70 photographs of an abandoned structure here in Italy, just North of Rome. I'm not sure what the building's use was, but it did have a lot of interesting things in it.
The gallery starts with 2 abandoned car shots in there, and then 3 of a road flyover from Rome which shouldn't be there, but I hope no-one is too upset as the following 66 are all in the one abandoned location.
The (Lightroom) gallery is just that, no adverts or even any links into my website itself, it takes 20 seconds or so to load up the pics but then it's pretty quick.

For my next post I'll link the pictures directly in the post, but I don't have time right now, but I thought you might be interested in the pictures as they are.

The camera was a Konica Minolta Dynax 5D with a couple of zooms, and the pics were taken a couple of years ago. I went "artistic" on them in Photoshop and Lightroom.
